Top 3 Developments in the Automotive Industry That'll Make You Go WOW

One development's already here (and used often), another's on the way with kangaroos, and the third? Well, it involves something you'd NEVER expect would revolve around cars!

Is it any wonder that the automotive industry remains as one of the most versatile, profitable, and interesting in all of business. Heck, if I wasn't a wordsmith, I'd try as hard as possible to get into the whole car making business! The thing is the automotive industry has seen a lot of its ups and downs as well as gone through so many evolutions in such a short period of time in retrospect.

After All, We Saw the Car Invented Only a Thousand Years Ago...

But what we see today is drastically different from a Model T Ford (seriously, just look at the headlining image of this article if you're skeptical). This proof is even more irrefutable when you look at TVs, microwaves, fridges, homes, and other inventions. Over the years, they really haven't changed much.

But cars have. A lot.

And that says there's a lot of growth, a lot of potential to propel the human race into a way of living that is so ground-breaking and awe-inspiring that I just might stop typing and try to get into building cars in a factory.

Here Are the Top 3 Stories You SHOULD Read, Though, on the Automotive Industry or Related

And they will indeed wow you. They wowed me. And it's just a testament to how our industry's changing literally by the day. But this particular story I'll reveal first? This one you may already know about.

Uber — Yes, That Car-Riding Service That's Been Around for a While Already

Chances are good you've already seen this one around. The brand's been making waves, but know this: there's actually one aspect of it that is the game changer (and honestly the game changer for many car makers, too).

The fact is Uber wouldn’t have been Uber if it wasn’t for that one "thing." A technology you normally wouldn’t associate with automotive. And the funny thing is even now we’re seeing this tech populate the automotive space in ways we never thought possible. Read this and you'll find out.

And Don't Forget About Self-Driving Cars

Cars that can drive themselves? Of course! Yes, it's true: we're headed into the future of science fiction becoming science reality, but it's not all you think it is thanks to this story.

How so? Well, let’s just say certain marsupials are currently making it that much harder for the self-driving technology to go for a clean sweep in this automotive industry. Again, check it out by clicking the link just above.

And, Lastly, 3D Printing Technology (???)

You heard correctly. A technology normally associated with office work and making copies has a whole lot to do with automotive and building cars. What's going on here, you ask? Well, it’s not what you think. 3D printing honestly is far from the whole office setting, opening up an entirely new set of possibilities for application. Think medical. Even real estate.

Confused, yet? Well, why don't you find out what this is all about? Click this link and read this doozie of an article about arguably the craziest automotive technology you never thought would make a difference in the industry.

We Really Have Come a Long Way, Haven't We?

No doubt. This may honestly be the beginning of a continuing evolution of auto tech that’ll blow our minds. Granted, we don't have vehicles yet that can fly (although we've certainly experimented with such stuff lately), and as far as I know, none of our sedans (or DeLoreans) can go back in time.

But who knows: it might happen. If we keep going the way we're going. the automotive industry just might be our newest frontier. Seriously... That's heavy, Doc.
