Given the Odds, These Cars Will Get You Killed
Given the statistics, complaints, and downright dangerous aspects of these cars, the odds are not in your favor while getting into any of these cars that will get you killed.
From Ferrari, to Chevrolet, to Ford, these car models are not something you're going to want to invest in, let alone sit passenger. As some of the world's dangerous vehicles, these are the top ten.
Given the statistics, complaints, and downright dangerous aspects of these cars, the odds are not in your favor while getting into any of these vehicles. As some of the top cars that will get you killed, being aware of the instability and inconsistency is something you're going to want to keep in mind.
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
The reason behind the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 being one of the top cars that will get you killed is simple: it is a hard vehicle to control.
Given the design and top speed of 200 mph and a 0 to 60 mph taking only 3.3 seconds, there is a huge amount of power and responsibility behind a car like this. A car that is not made to be driven on your work commute, and especially not by inexperienced drivers, this car is a speed trap.
Chevrolet Aveo
According to USAToday, Chevrolet Aveo has taken a total of 99 lives between the years of 2009 and 2012 per 1 million sold vehicles.
As one of the top cars that will get you killed, the Aveo is one that has been proven to be an aid to horrible disaster. However, this is only the fourth top vehicle to cause this alarming amount of death.
Dodge Challenger Hellcat
Because of the very necessary to use stability control systems, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat has the horsepower of 707. Because of this system having an on and off switch makes this car one of the most dangerous to drive.
When the stability control system is turned off, the Hellcat is almost impossible to control if you're driving with any sort of aggression. This can lead to skidding and much more, that could ultimately lead to the death of the driver or of someone else.
Kia Rio four-door
Though small and light, the Kia Rio four-door is one of the leading cars that will get you killed. As a four-door version of the Kia Rio, this car has the leading number of caused deaths per 1 million registered vehicles with 149 deaths.
If that doesn't make you reconsider getting inside one of these, we don't know what will. As one of the most dangerous vehicles on the market, the Kia Rio four-door is one of the worst cars on the list.
Dodge Viper
Now discontinued, Dodge will not be expanding the Viper generation any further. We're unsure that this is due to the fact that it is one of the deadliest cars, but there is plenty of reason behind the discontinuation that points toward this fact.
The Viper is a wild vehicle and tough to control with the power that comes with the car. Because of the power along with the design, the car was waiting to be destructive, eventually. However, this car was a crowd favorite, and Chrysler sold over 100,000 of them during its time.
Nissan Versa
The Nissan Versa is among the top cars that will get you killed, as it has also caused one of the top alarming death tolls among four-door cars, killing 130 people per one million vehicles being registered.
As an extremely devastating statistic from USAToday, the car is one that, though many might rave about, is unfortunately an underlying aid to many deaths.
Jaguar XJ220
Though beautiful, the Jaguar's first attempt at a road-driving supercar with the XJ220 was ultimately a danger-trap. Emphasizing its speed, at the time, the car was one of the fastest road-driving models.
However, it is a tough vehicle to master, and because of its advertised ideal of being an everyday supercar, the dangerousness is impressively high. Loss of control and skidding are very popular while in inexperienced hands.
Ferrari 599 GTO
Forget driving the Ferrari 599 GTO in any type of weather conditions. As one of the top cars that will get you killed, and one of the most expensive cars on the list, this model is helpless in any wet or icy weather.
This is very dangerous when driving slow can't even combat the slippage and skidding. Losing control is not what you want to worry about when driving a very fast Ferrari.
Hyundai Accent four-door
Yet another four-door version of a small and light car should set off alarms in your head. The Hyundai Accent four-door is another car that has been proven to cause one of the top death tolls from 2009 to 2012.
This car has taken 86 lives among the one million vehicles sold. Proven to be a danger, this isn't a car you're going to want to get inside anytime soon, given the odds.
Ford Explorer
To complete our list of the top cars that will get you killed, given the odds, is the Ford Explorer. As one of the vehicles with the most amount of reports of instability, the Explorer struggles to remain stable at high speeds or turns.
These reports transformed into a scandal for the company, and resulted in a huge stock decline for Ford.
