Ugliest Cars Ever Made That You Must See

Be ready to cringe like never before, because these are, literally, the ugliest cars ever made in history.

There are so many car brands and designs out there and every year, these brands are releasing their newest and hottest models for consumers to test out. A lot of the newer styles are definitely eye-catching and updated to look super futuristic and fitting for the new year. It's not even the exotic cars that are getting a feel of the future, but brands like Honda, Jeep, and Toyota. Their cars are getting amazing makeovers and we're stunned whenever the newest model is released.

There definitely is some good-looking cars out there, but then there are models we can't even bear to look at. From years ago to even recently, there are car brands that created just the ugliest styled mobiles we've ever laid eyes on. If you thought Fiat cars were ugly, then you've got to check out the ugliest cars ever made. Yes, there's a Fiat in this list, of course.

1990 Pontiac Trans Sport

Talk about the ultimate soccer mom mobile. The 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport is actually all things hideous… I don’t know where to start. It’s a minivan that was well-received for the amount of passengers it could take. It’s basically those cars you’d call to take you and your entire family to the airport. Yes, it’s that exactly—I nailed it.

The creator behind this car must have gathered car scrap from the local junkyard and decided to combine everything together. And voila! The 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport was born. Its nickname is actually the “Dust Buster,” because it resembled the handheld Black and Decker vacuum cleaner. And I agree 100 percent. Someone needs to take this model back to the junkyard where it was born.

AMC Pacer

Okay, I understand this is a 1970s car… but come on. While it’s among the ugliest cars ever made, this car looks like an actual bug. No, not those adorable Volkswagen buggies, but a literal bug that you’d want to squish the second you laid your eyes on it. The look of those doors don’t look secure, either. I won’t be surprised in the midst of driving it, either the passenger or the driver would fly out the door while turning.

Get this, the AMC executives hoped that the Pacer would be the next wave of car design. Well, they should’ve prayed just a little more, because this car was no where near becoming the hottest design for car models. Either the executives were intoxicated or genuinely have a terrible taste in car designs, the AMC Pacer didn't make it big in the 70s. Also, AMC is one of the terrible car brands that no longer exist.

1982 Aston Martin Lagonda

Woah, this list of the ugliest cars ever made just got so much more ugly. No, hideous. Have any of you seen the 1982 Aston Martin Lagonda? If this is your first time checking it out, I apologize immensely for hurting your eyes. The 80s had a crazy style for making the front of their cars extra long. Long enough for the car to look like a horse.

Believe it or not, this car was seen as a luxurious sports car back in the day. It acquired qualities like class, sophistication, and just all-round cool. The makers of the car mentioned that the Lagonda was "also one of the most 'creatively' styled." It’s definitely creative all right, if you’re aiming for a horse-like vehicle. Instead of putting the 1982 Aston Martin Lagonda in your garage, put it back in the barn with the rest of the horses.

Fiat Multipla

Fiat needs to stop with these hideous cars. Just when we thought a few Fiats were ugly, this one probably tops it among the ugliest cars ever made in history. It’s not even an old car, it’s a recent model! You’d think Fiat would update and change the designs on their cars. No. They’re making it worse by the years. But the Fiat Multipla looks like a clown car. The clown himself probably wouldn’t dare to catch himself driving this.

It’s a very, very strange car that features bulges on random areas of the car. Even the windshield is bulged for no reason. Why does Fiat do this to their poor models? This car was meant to be a blow-up car for kids to jump in. That’s how bulgy and puffy it looks.

2001 Pontiac Aztek

This car is for a dad with four kids who goes camping on the weekends with the boys when it’s only sunny and enjoys barbecuing while wearing his Jesus sandals. That’s what the 2001 Pontiac Aztek looks like. In fact, this car is so ugly, it was listed among the "50 Worst Inventions" in Time magazine. I don’t understand how some people can comfortably say they wanted to spend their money on the 2001 Pontiac Aztek. I can tell the makers were trying to do that cool two-tone design, but it just looks like the car was dipped in mud half-way.

This car might be beneficial when heading to the camping sight, but imagine picking up your date with this? I’d honestly turn right back around on my heel and head home.

Nissan Cube

Nissan... you've disappointed me. Nissan is actually a really great car brand, but their Cube model just has shame written all over it. It’s literally in the shape of a cube, and its windows are too asymmetric. The front looks like a fish while the rest is a fish tank. Come on, Nissan, you know we all mock the box cars.

Supposedly, the Nissan designers wanted to make the Cube unique in their brand, and they certainly succeeded in that. Unique as in completely diverse from the other models they’ve created. And unique as in just hideous, because it's one of the ugliest cars ever made in Nissan history.

Nissan Juke

Yes, I’m throwing in another Nissan model, because they’ve really brought me down with these car models that they believed so strongly would become a major hit in the industry. But I don't know which is worse, the Juke or the Cube. Either way, they're both among the ugliest cars ever made. I can tell the creators of Nissan wanted to go out of their comfort zone and create a hip and unique car that features an interesting design to its headlights. No, actually, there's nothing "hip" and "cool" about the Juke.

It doesn’t even matter what color you get the Juke in, black or red, it’s still an unattractive car. The back of the car doesn’t look so bad but once it’s turned right around, BAM—repulsive. Probably the main reason why this car is so ugly is the headlights. I bet Nissan designers finished up designing a cool-looking car, but forgot to put in the headlights. So, they placed the two right in the center on the front of the car. They are large and circular, like two gross moles.

1999 Isuzu VehiCROSS

If you thought the 2001 Pontiac Aztek was ugly, wait until you check out the 1999 Isuzu VehiCROSS. They can actually go as siblings, that's how close in resemblance they are. But I do believe that this one is just a bit uglier than the Pontiac Aztek.

Here's another car with that hideous two-tone design that only looks like it's been dipped in mud. Since the car doesn't feature any cool designs, at all, the makers behind this model decided to put this really weird, four-lined design on the doors. I'm not sure what the purpose is, but if it's simply part of the design, making it without those lines would help make the car a little less ugly. Not to mentioned that the front of the car looks as though it rammed itself on a horizontal pole.

1970 AMC Gremlin

I'm telling you, in the previous decades, car designers were obsessed with making the front of their cars super long. So long, that if you were ram the front of the car into a wall, the crash wouldn't even get to you, because the front would absorb everything. But please... don't purposely crash your car to test this out, even if it is the 1970 AMC Gremlin, easily one of the ugliest cars ever made.

Just the model says it all—Gremlin. Gross. While it's such a long car, it only features two doors... for some reason. People actually described this car as something that was "painful to look at." Shockingly, the Gremlin sold well enough that it stuck around for eight years! But it's still among the worst cars to ever be invented.

Aston Martin Lagonda Shooting Brake

Lastly from the list of the ugliest cars ever made in history, the Aston Martin Lagonda Shooting Brake is another mile-long car. While it's similar to the 1982 Aston Martin Lagonda, the Shooting Brake is longer and way uglier. If you thought the previous cars looked ridiculously long, then you haven't seen this one. It's long enough to put a coffin in the back, because you'd have to kill me to catch me riding this. Spacious with a lot of windows... it looks like a last minute middle school project.

Apparently, the designer of the car locked himself away for about a month to etch out one of the weirdest vintage cars. Oh, Lord, don’t look at the back of this car—it’s worse than the front. Just the appearance makes me wonder, What was going through the designer’s mind in the midst of sketching this out? Instead, he should've locked himself away to contemplate the disaster he's created.
