Honestly, if I owned super exotic and expensive cars, I'd treat them way better than humans. They can practically be your child, that's how much you'd cherish a pricy sports car. As much as the majority of us would need to sell an organ or two for a Lambo, we simply admire these cars through our computer screens. Since they're way... way out of our budget, we can only pretend that we own one... in our dreams. And when we do see our dream car in public, we lose our minds and sneak a few photos of its beauty.
However, it's no surprise that celebrities own high-end cars—because they have the money for it, obviously. But no one appreciates cars more than hip-hop artists. While they're making big bucks from the awesome music they're constantly putting out there, they reward themselves with stunning, foreign cars. Want to check out a few of these artists' car collections? These are the famous car collectors in hip-hop who can't get enough of their beautiful rides.
Starting off the list with the biggest of car collectors in hip-hop is T-Pain. He actually owns more cars than I can list on the top of my head. He's even owned 32 in the past! Thirty two cars! Whether or not he's sold a few, he still owns a hell amount of cars. Clearly he's a major fan in exotic, luxurious cars.
Among his collection, he owns cars like Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, Ford F650, Bugatti Veyron, Cadillac Hearse, Scion xB, Mini Cooper, Ferrari F430, 1963 drop-top Chevrolet Impala, Oldsmobile 442, 1972 Chevrolet Impala, Buick Lacerne, and so much more. This list doesn’t even do justice compared to the amount he really has.
It's no surprise to find Flo Rida as one of the famous car collectors in hip-hop. In fact, he loves his cars so much that his Buggati Veyron made a grand appearance in his music video for "Good Feeling." If my singles were constantly hitting number one on the charts, I'd be owning a Buggati, too.
While he may not own as much as T-Pain, Flo Rida does possess three stunning cars. He owns a Ferrari California, Bugatti Veyron, and a Mercedes-Benz CL. His Bugatti Veyron in solid white is actually gorgeous... not going to lie. And it's among the fastest cars of the 00s.
Pharrell is huge in the music industry and is always creating hit singles solo or featuring another artist. Catchy and energetic, Pharrell's music definitely rewarded him to amazing cars, which is something to be "Happy" about. In addition, he is a producer, as well. I'm shocked he only owns four cars.
While Pharrell is one of the car collectors in hip-hop, he owns mobiles like Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR, Ferrari Enzo, Hybrid GMC Yukon, and Rolls-Royce Phantom. And his Ferrari Enzo and Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR are both breathtaking. Um, I'll have what he's having, please, especially the Rolls-Royce since it's one of the best supercars ever.
As for one out of two owners of the amazing Maybach Coupe, Rick Ross is also one of the popular car collectors in hip-hop. While the majority of rappers were getting their hands on the Maybach 62 or 57, Rick Ross wanted something a bit different... something more limited edition. And that's when he got himself the Coupe, which costs $8 million!
Aside from the Maybach Coupe, Rick Ross also owns exotic cars like Bentley Continental Supersports, Rolls-Royce Ghost, and the 1973 Chevrolet Impala. The Maybach Coupe is mainly for show because of how uncomfortable is it—no shocker here. Just look how small the interior is.
Since Lil Wayne is actually obsessed with money, he's only mentioned money a thousand times in his music, it's no shocker that he enjoys splurging on luxurious cars. While he's one of the popular car collectors in hip-hop, he's also one of the rappers who gets their hands on insanely expensive and fast foreign cars.
As for his car collection, Lil Wayne owns the Bugatti Veyron, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Porsche Boxster, and the Maybach 62. He's also among the celebrities who own a Maybach 62, but in my opinion, his Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is remarkable.
We all know how crazy famous Kanye West is, even before he married Kim Kardashian. But after he married the reality star and created amazing music, his fame shot right up. And this also resulted to lots and lots of money coming his way. But did you think West wouldn't splurge on ridiculously expensive cars? Think again.
While he's definitely one of the car collectors in hip-hop, his collection features rides like the Aston Martin DB9, Lamborghini Aventador, and the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR. However, for the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR, West actually went for the Stirling Moss edition, and it honestly looks epic and classy at the same time.
While Jay-Z is up there among the richest rappers ever, with $610 million as his net worth, he can practically buy whatever damn car he wants. And he definitely didn't hold back when he bought a few of his precious exotic mobiles. Including his awesome Bugatti Veyron which is his most expensive one.
Other than his pricy Bugatti, Jay-Z possesses other staggering cars like the Ferrari F430 Spider, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Maybach Exelero, Maybach 62S, Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, and the Jeep Wrangler. So, two Maybachs? Making $610 million seems nice...
Probably the most obsessed one from the car collectors in hip-hop, Curren$y doesn't own so many cars and the majority of them aren't ridiculously expensive. However, he does have an obsession with one car brand, and it's Chevrolet. He practically includes cars in most of this music and even music videos.
For his collection, Curren$y owns Chevrolet cars like Chevrolet Impala SS, Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, Chevrolet Corvette, and Chevrolet El Camino SS. Looks like he aims for the classics rather than the most high-end of cars out there.
From the car collectors in hip-hop, 50 Cent is a smart dude with a ton of money. I mean... a lot of money. He's smart for making investments from sign endorsements, dropping out at the precise moments, and piling up cash. While his investments brought him so much money, this led him to spend on some amazing whips.
The cars in 50 Cent's collection includes the Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Murcielago, Rolls-Royce Ghost, and the Pontiac G8. This is why we all should invest—it guides us into becoming millionaires! Better start investing now if you want a Lamborghini Murcielago.
Finally, among the famous car collectors in hip-hop is Birdman. He's easily the biggest car collector ever since he drops so much money on the fastest and most expensive cars in the world. He's even mentioned once that he owned about 50 rides! But that was a long time ago. Yet, he still owns pretty decent cars.
In his collection, Birdman owns the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Maybach 62S Landaulet, Bugatti Veyron, Maybach Exelero, and he recently got his hands on the Lamborghini Veneno, which is priced at $4.6 million. I don't think I have just one favorite from his collection... I love them all.
