Dodge has always had a great reputation for powerful muscle cars, and it's not a rep that's undeserved, either. Over the years, Dodge has stolen the show in rallies, races, and car shows of all kinds. That being said, it's hard not to admire the cream of the crop from this amazing car manufacturer.

Today, we're going to look at some of the best Dodge muscle cars that are currently still new on the market, as well as a couple of classics. Which of these have you dreamed about driving?

2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Ever since the first Challenger rolled off the factory floor, the folks at Dodge knew they had created one of the best Dodge muscle cars they'd ever make. Throughout the years, this car gained a strong reputation for a powerful, race-ready cars that can dominate tracks and turn heads.

Many, many trims and versions of the standard Challenger model exist, and currently, one of the fastest muscle cars in existence is an advanced Challenger model by the name of the 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

This beauty involves 707 horsepower and can reach a top speed of 199 miles per hour! If that doesn't make it one of the best Dodge muscle cars of all time.

2017 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

If you can't quite roll with a Challenger, the Dodge Charger line of muscle cars has proven to be a major hit, too. In fact, they categorically are one of the best Dodge muscle cars of all time. Much like the Dodge Challenger, there are a multitude of Charger versions to choose from — and many of them, too, have claims to fame.

Also like the Challenger line, the newest 2017 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat also boasts a very impressive 707 horsepower. Currently, both are tied as the two most powerful American muscle cars on the market, and that makes the Dodge Charger one of the best Dodge muscle cars ever made.

2017 Dodge Challenger Demon

Though this is another Dodge Challenger, this one isn't technically a muscle car. Because of how powerful the motor is, many people would say it's closer to a supercar than anything else. With a jaw-dropping standard 808 horsepower, this insanely powerful muscle car clears a quarter mile in under 10 seconds.

In terms of sheer power and capability, the Dodge Challenger Demon is one of the best Dodge muscle cars of all time.

2017 Dodge Viper ACR

Of all the muscle cars that Dodge has created, the Viper line might be one of the most beautiful. Really, just look at the build of this model. Along with being one of the most recognizable and head-turning car models that this car company has made, the Dodge Viper also packs a pretty powerful punch.

The Dodge Viper ACR is considered by many to be the cream of the Viper crop, and we're inclined to agree. The Dodge Viper ACR currently packs a wallop at 645 horsepower, and has an equally impressive 10-cylinder engine. Oh, and it's also the car of choice for comedian Jeff Dunham.

It's worth noting that this year will be the last year for Viper production...so you might want to check them out before they go the way of the dodo.

1965 Dodge Coronet

When it comes to classic muscle cars that aren't a Challenger or Charger, Dodge still doesn't disappoint. One of the rarer, less-mentioned cars with these features include the Dodge Coronet. The Coronet line of cars was known for being one of the earliest muscle cars out on the circuit, with the first generation being known for its smooth running back in the late 1940s.

Though the first could of cars were not quite what we would think of when we discuss vintage muscle cars, by the 60s, the Coronet was known for its powerful engine — and is now considered a heavily sought-after vintage muscle car.

This car has an impressive V8 engine making it a classic that still gets accolades (and occasional rap video appearances) today. That's why it's one of the best Dodge muscle cars ever made.

1979 Dodge Magnum

One of the other Dodge muscle car models that fell to the wayside as the years marched by. Though many may have forgotten the Magnum, this is one of the best Dodge muscle cars to have been produced. Despite its stocky body, a special trim Magnum had made appearances at NASCAR races.

Even back then, this car was able to reach top speeds of up to 190 miles per hour. Multiple NASCAR legends have driven this car, and Magnums have won a couple of races in their time. It's a true race car, and as car fans, we have to respect that.

1964 Dodge Polara 2-Door Hardtop 318 V-8

We'll be honest here, we just had to include the Polara because its exterior is just so cool. It looks so retro and Space Age-y, doesn't it? Well, it should. The name "Polara" was chosen by the folks at Dodge as a subtle nod to the Space Race.

Though it's technically a coupe that was meant for general driving purposes, its 230 horsepower V8 engine definitely makes it a spiffy muscle car by many peoples' standards, too. Because of its awesome design and its strong motor, we're going to add it to our list of the best Dodge muscle cars out there.
